About
Held by Sound explores the role of music in psychedelic-assisted therapy and self-exploration. Founded by Shahar, a musician with over a decade of experience in the psychedelic music scene, the project focuses on creating bespoke soundscapes that support therapeutic and introspective journeys.
Central to this work is the Modular Album, a flexible music tool designed for clinicians and solo travelers,allowing for a customizable experience that adapts to different stages of a session. Shahar has also composed music for DMT trials in the UK, virtual reality therapy tools, and deep listening workshops, where he shares insights on the relationship between sound and altered states.
Held by Sound continues to develop music that supports healing, integration, and transformation in therapeutic settings.
